The acrylic painting is of a marble fox in a forest. There wasn't much value change in the background which made the painting look a little flat. The lines in the fur are to simulate a fur like texture with the different values of gray. The color scheme of the painting was monochromatic because the only color was in the eyes. There was a lot contrast in the painting because of the different values of gray along with the white and black in the painting. There was an emphasis put onto the fox because it was the only thing in the painting with pure white in it.
