My inspiration for the block printing pattern was a Webtoon comic by Isaky (the person's pen name) the name is Lalin's curse. The piece was originally going to have more characters from the series, but I decided against it because there wouldn't be enough room for them. I just ended up taking off the boy characters and using the girls because there were less and I hadn't drawn them before. I feel like I did great because the girls turned out how I wanted them to the first try when I first carved them out and printed which was surprising. I am also really happy with how their names turned out with them in cursive because I thought it wouldn't turn out right.
